Product Overview


The RLAS anchor latch seal assembly is a high performance device used as an anchoring and sealing interface between the completion tubing string and seal bore packers such as the Resource Well Completion Technologies models RHSB, RHRB, RLB and RSB. The RLAS anchor latch seal assembly latches into the top end of a seal bore packer by stabbing the seal unit into the packer bore and applying slight set down weight until the anchor latch ratchets into the mating thread on the packer. The RLAS anchor latch seal assembly is released simply by applying slight tension and rotating the tubing to the right 12 - 15 turns. The latch component of the RLAS anchor latch seal assembly provides a positive anchor to the packer with tensile ratings designed to approximate the tensile rating of the tubing connection. The seal component of the RLAS anchor latch seal assembly provides a positive, dynamic, high pressure high temperature seal interface between the packer and the tubing. Chevron style v-seal stacks are standard and are available in various materials and configurations to accommodate virtually all well conditions. Bonded seal units are also available in various materials upon request. As standard the RLAS body is manufactured from materials which conform to NACE MR-0175 for H2S service applications with a differential pressure rating of 7,500 psi. The RLAS is also available in alternate materials for severe environments and at differential pressure ratings up to 10,000 psi*. A full line of accessory equipment is available such as spacer tubes, seal units, mule shoes, and production tubes.
