10-119 RSRC Clutch Type Safety Joint

Product Overview

The RSRC is a down hole tubing mounted device that provides a means of mechanically separating the tubing string if required. The tool is shear released by applying tubing tension in excess of the value of installed shear screws. A clutch mechanism allows full tubing torque to be transmitted through the tool while connected. Shear release value is easily field adjustable. Mechanical properties match or exceed that of the corresponding tubing. Standard configuration includes materials which conform to NACE MR-01-75 for H2S service applications. The RSRC is also available in alternate materials for severe environments.
